The undergraduate studies at XJTLU provided a solid basis for my future studies and the career of an independent architect engaging in critical research and design. The RIBA education model is advanced and open-minded in how it approaches the field of architecture. It differs from other universities in China. Experienced tutors, excellent workshop facilities and other academic/practice resources helped me to initiate my future career.

Before entering the MArch Architecture Part 2 at the Bartlett in London, I spent two years working in architectural practice with the offices Skew Collaborative and Farrells in Shanghai. Both companies are foreign-based. The experience in practice helped me to understand how these foreign companies work in China. Since autumn 2019, I am in London, pursuing my MArch at the Bartlett and pushing my research and design to another academic and professional level.
