Studying at XJTLU was a great starting point as I learned how to initiate a thinking process, and critical thinking became the basis for my architecture study. I took one year off working at DnA_Design and Architecture after graduation, focusing on exploring small-scale architectural projects in rural China, to work with natural landscape and to really test out how architecture is changing our everyday life.
Master's study at the University of Virginia was a multi-disciplinary experience. The studios are not only architecture focused, but consist of a mixture of landscape and urban design. I've enjoyed exploring the complexity of architecture when working with landscapers and urban planners, to think and approach projects from a different perspective with the concept of details in architecture in mind.
