The experience most appreciated from my time at XJTLU would have to be the way it has shaped my architectural attitude, aesthetically. This initial and fundamental experience was crucial in terms of how I interpreted given architectural knowledge into my own personal aesthetical understanding, which has been encouraged and appreciated by the tutors at this unique academic environment. I am very grateful for what I received at XJTLU, it encouraged my continued passion for architecture up until this very moment and will do so onwards.

I held a position at Farrells offices based in both Shanghai and Hong Kong for two years in my year out period. It was a drastically different experience as my professional work and my first time outside of education. This was an opportunity to witness the ‘real’ architectural industry and professional career in a non-comprehensive but realistic way. It set my mind onto a particular focus, to explore architectural solutions while considering technological innovations. This is primarily the reason I am now studying in Studio Lynn in Vienna, the freedom here is liberating and the opportunity to work with colleagues with varying backgrounds and specialties is invaluable. I am still exploring possible routes for my desired field, but believe I am in the best position to do so.
