What made XJTLU a preferable alternative ecology differentiated from any other schools was its capacity for critic without biased presumption, rigorous attitude of scholarship and pedagogy that was not oriented to a rendering-based contemporary practice. Those factors and this particular environment encourage innovation, creativities and self-consciousness that helped me to construct an identity that is not merely employable but self-critical.

I have been practicing as an architect and design researcher in Taiwan, Shanghai and Vienna. My works investigating community reconstruction, participatory design, and social-cultural phenomena in rural/suburban regions. I have been continuously working on intelligent interactive mechanisms in design tools for future emergent environments and resilience.
