What benefits me most in advancing my architectural career is the critical thinking habits that I developed during my undergrad studies at XJTLU.  This kind of rigorous critical thinking model allows me to make rational decisions each time when I’m facing with complicated design tasks. Also, the English-speaking environment that XJTLU provides makes everything much easier when I went abroad for graduate studies in Canada.

Since I got enrolled in the University of British Columbia for March degree, I’ve been looking at First Nation’s issues of the reconciliation in Canada. It is a topic of great practical significance and is rooted in the colonial history of Canada. I started to give great emphasis on time as one significant dimension of the building – its life cycle, its capacity and the adaptability for changing community needs over time.
